Clay Pigeon Shooting
Clay Shooting is one of the safest and most enjoyable outdoor sports in the UK. It's challenging, fulfilling and social. Men, women, young, old, able bodied and disabled all take part on equal terms.
The sport also comes in many forms - Skeet, Down the Line, Double Trap and English Sporting to name but a few. In principle its all about shooting a target (the clay) with a smooth bore single or double barrel shotgun.
Our prime objective is to promote the sport, by making it both affordable and enjoyable. Our shoots are not just for seasoned guns, infact a very large majority of our customers are beginners!

About Us
Our very first Clay Pigeon Shoot took place on the 22nd of February 2013 and since then Coombs Clay Shooting has become one of Bath’s leading shooting destinations.
The company behind the trading name (Bath Leisure Limited) is very much a family affair. Started by Mark, Mathew and James Coombs who work in the business alongside 4 additional superb coaches and our crew of assistants.
Coombs Clay Shooting was very much founded for fun! If you’re a complete novice looking to try the sport, a couple looking for something to do on a special visit to Bath, or even a stag or hen group - we are here for you.
That said; the safety of our team, customers and the general public is paramount. We always put this first. So rest assured you are in safe hands. We’re fully insured, have a clean safety record and fully trained experienced staff. Many hold CPSA or BASC coaching qualifications.
Over the past few years we have been growing and growing and offer multiple locations as well as lessons, safe shot certifications and simulated driven game days. We have a good selection of Promatic traps, a variety of shotguns and the gear to take the Clay Shooting anywhere in the UK.

Green Credentials
Like you, we want to do our bit for the planet and it's important to us to have fun but in a sustainable way that does not cause harm to the countryside. Because of this we recently introduced ecologically friendly clays and now use them at all our shoots. The fuel we use to move our equipment and in our vehicles is also offset.

Best of all, biodegradable cartridges and a move away from lead shot are just on the horizon. We're looking forward to that!
